This is LOSP (light organic solvent preservative) treated H3.1. It has a clear treated face, suitable for staining, painting or leaving for a natural yellow pine look

This is the proper NZ-made Shadowclad seconds, marketed by the manufacturer as “Utilityclad”. Utilityclad is not suitable as an exterior cladding where a high level of visual finish and/ or compliance with NZ Building Code clause E2 is required.

It is a band-sawn face, with a shiplap edge, and a weathergroove in the shiplap to give weatherproof joint. They are typically downgrade due to damage to the shiplap edges and minor face imperfections.
