This is the proper NZ-made Shadowclad seconds, marketed by the manufacturer as “Utilityclad”. Utilityclad is not suitable as an exterior cladding where a high level of visual finish and/ or compliance with NZ Building Code clause E2 is required.
Recommended cladding applications include: Farm Buildings, General Utility Buildings, garages and Tiny Homes.

It is a band-sawn face, with a shiplap edge, and a weather groove in the shiplap to give weatherproof joint. These are typically downgraded because of damage to the shiplap edges and minor face imperfections. This product has textured / band sawn appearance.
