This is the proper NZ-made Shadowclad seconds, marketed by the manufacturer as “Utilityclad”. Utilityclad is not suitable as an exterior cladding where a high level of visual finish and/ or compliance with NZ Building Code clause E2 is required.
Recommended cladding applications include: Farm Buildings, General Utility Buildings, garages and Tiny Homes.

It is a band-sawn face, with a shiplap edge, and a weather groove in the shiplap to give weatherproof joint. These are typically downgraded because of damage to the shiplap edges and minor face imperfections. Available with Grooves on the face at 150mm centres.
